A Coke ad in McPherson, Kansas is still on an old building that has survived many years. Coke sold them a huge amount of paint so in the future they would not have to buy any more touch up paint for the years to come. It’s fought Coke still has some paint kept away so that the original advertisement never wears or looses paint.
Coca Cola has made a major impact on American culture and is often credited for the ideas of many modern inventions like ‘Santa Claus’, an old man in red and white with a white beard and red garments. However even though Coke started the trend promoting the image in the 1930’s in their winter campaigns, it was already a common trend before they started doing that. In fact Coca Cola was not even the first soda drink company to use the modern day image of Santa Claus for advertising it was actually ‘White Rock Beverages’, they used it for ginger ale in 1923 after using it to sell mineral water in 1915.
